Getting there

Travel

The venue is very close to the city centre, so links are very good for multiple types of transport.

Accommodation

There are many hotels in the city centre at varying prices. We’d recommend anywhere in the city centre, but if you are feeling particularly glamourous, you could opt to stay in the bay and get the aqua bus for a real experience.

TLDR;

Lots of hotels in the city centre, and lots of taxis around. Though if you want a taxi to leave the event later on, we reccommend pre-booking as it can get busy on a Saturday night!

Order of Events

    Guests for the ceremony arrive, grab a drink, say hello to people

  • Ceremony

    Make your way to the balcony where we will get married!

  • Toasts and fun!

    We’ll have a couple of (short) speeches and time for some photos.

  • Food and drinks

    Grab a couple of slices of pizza, have a drink, loosen up

  • Evening arrival

    Evening guests arrive

  • Live music and first dance

    We’ve lined up an awesome band to entertain us all

  • Fun

    While the band take a break we will have time for some fun to get everyone involved.

  • Live music round 2

    The band will be back on again!

What to wear

Whatever makes you happy!

We want everyone to feel their best and have the greatest time possible. Please wear whatever you feel top notch in (no birthday suits though, please!). We’re hoping it will be warm, but there is plenty of indoor and outdoor space, so regardless of the weather, we will be partying til the night is through.

Facilities

The venue

Tramshed is a live music venue with level access throughout. There is a lift, and accessible toilets. Please see their website for more information.

Food

We will be having a food truck from the guys at Ffwrnes pizza plus some other little treats. When RSVPing, please provide any dietary requirements so we can make sure we have something for everyone.

Children

We welcome children at our wedding and have hired Tramshed’s cinema room to provide a space for children who want to use it, or as an area for feeding and changing. We will have a laptop with movies for the kids to enjoy.

There will be a live band on during the night, so we would recommend ear defenders, or if possible, arranging childcare so that you can enjoy the band yourselves. The party will continue quite late in to the night. :D

Children will need at least one adult present in the cinema room at all times when in use.

Tramshed request that no food or drink is taken in to the cinema room.

Gifts

The most important thing for us is having you at our special day. However, if you do wish to give a gift, we would gratefully accept a small contribution towards our honeymoon.
